What is better than snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of hot chocolate in a the cozy light of the Christmas tree, with a good film on the telly and your pets curled up for night?

Paws this Winter

We always think about our dogs feet in summer - walking on hot pavements, but what about the winter months?

Icy roads, muddy and wet feet, can all lead to infection and just plain discomfort! This product applied to the pads and the webbing can help to keep your K9 pals paws warmer and protected from the elements this winter.

Please ask us about availability and cost. We can drop to your door in the Bournemouth and Poole area!

Tooth Talk

Vets do ALOT of dentals - and believe it or not most of us are not that keen on them! They are time consuming and hard work!

But they are also vitally important to overall health. Oral health has a massive impact on our own and our pets general health. Even mild active gingivitis in people and pets has been shown to increase local and systemic inflammatory markers.

Not only this, but the bacteria present lead to bad breath and a source of blood borne infection to other organs including heart valves, liver infections, joint infections and kidney infections to name just a few.

Like cars - routine and ongoing dental maintenance is often overlooked by owners, mild tartar and gingivitis ignored till the last minute, and post dental work aftercare poorly supported by vets.

Where tooth brushing is not a possibility (and lets face it - especially with cats its damn near impossible), then Stomodine F gel is a great thing you can do to help. It contains antibacterials to prevent bacteria building up and quickly improves bad breath. Using the supplied applicator you squeeze a small amount as directed into the side of the mouth on both sides regularly (again as directed)

COST - from us £12.95 per 30ml tube which is the same cost as many online retailers and if we deliver to you on our rounds then there is no postage - Bonus!!

Bad Bottom? Stock up for Winter.

Acute diarrhoea is super common in dogs and almost always the result of eating something they shouldn't have! These tablets are great to have in stock at home to help bind the poo back to a more solid consistency. They also help to maintain a normal electrolyte balance, which you can lose during bouts of diarrhoea.

They are given at half a tablet per 10kg of body weight twice daily, and just might help stop an expensive Vet visit.

For convenience we can supply in various amounts depending on dog size. â€‹
